meet Krista & Mamie
We are two clinically trained art therapists who desire more community, connection, and creation. We have spent years facilitating the healing arts within the time and space constraints of healthcare systems and while doing that work, we witnessed the magic of what art can do. Now, we have created a protocol where we have the time, space, and support to truly lean into the power of what art can provide—and we are sharing it with you through Begin Within.
We are embodied arts facilitators and artists.
We are just explorers in the mysterious land of process and art and the unconscious.
We just report back what we find.
Promoting our slow living, high sensitivity, needs lifestyle - learning how to honor it.

The Vision: A Tarot and Collage Workshop
A virtual gathering for those who long to live their year with intention, meaning, and creative rhythm.
Each year, we cross unseen thresholds–seasons shift, inner tides change, and our creative energy calls for renewal. But often, we move too quickly to listen. This workshop invites you to pause, reflect, and create from a place of alignment.
Together, we’ll explore how to build a Creative Check-In structure– a personal practice that helps you stay connected to your personal path through the year ahead. You’ll learn to use intuitive artmaking and mystic tools to track your inner cycles and external themes– weaving art, ritual, and reflection into a rhythm that feels deeply your own.
When: January 3rd from 4:00pm-8:00pm (includes a mixture of learning + art making + breaks)
Where: virtual, on Zoom
Who: Open to seekers, creatives, empaths, and the mystical-curious
Cost: $50 | Plan to show up with a friend? $75 for two attendees (highly encouraged!) | $25 optional add on for materials kit
what you can expect during the vision workshop
In this 4-hour virtual workshop, you will:
Explore intuitive and process artmaking as a form of reflection and guidance
Identify the energetic and creative themes emerging in your life
Learn to create your own creative check in system for the months ahead
Engage with mystical tools such as tarot, oracle, numerology, archetypes, symbols and seasonal cycles
Create a Vision Board that integrates imagery and energy that will mirror and help map out your year ahead.
Be in community with others seeking creative connection
You do not need to be an artist to be part of the Vision Workshop– just someone willing to explore your inner world through color, image, and imagination.
What to bring:
Magazines, scissors, glue and any images or symbols that speak to you
A canvas, large paper, posterboard, or cardboard for your vision board
Any personal art materials you enjoy working with
If you’d like us to send you a materials kit (which includes intuitively chosen collage imagery, book pages, ephemera, and designed papers), we can ship one to you for an additional fee of $25 (includes shipping). Please add this on at check out.
